Where would be good (and affordable, so probably not West Indies). Happy to be warm rather than hot. Obv Canaries. Maybe Cyprus? Anywhere else?

We’re off to Cape Verde soon. That’s probably hot rather than warm though.

We’re off on a 2 week cruise to the Canaries and Madeira soon, booked last January for a very good price.

Madeira is beautiful.

Last year it was very warm and just what I needed, hoping for the same again.

Canaries. Lanzarote is lovely in winter, warm enough to be out and about and lounging by the pool and some lovely resorts. Puerto del Carmen old town is our favourite.

My friend in Maderia right now and weather is terrible.
Playa Blanca in Lanzarote ( southern part of island) is stunning .
We have a villa there.

We went to Madeira in November, had lovely weather, would recommend but you need to research the area you are staying in as most areas are VERY hilly, Lido area is flatter, especially around Estrada Monumental and easy to get into Funchal. We loved Madeira and will definitely return. We go to the Canaries again next month always had great weather, only ever visited in Dec, Jan or Feb half term. Morocco may be worth looking at too. Enjoy your holiday OP.

Went to Madeira last January. Rained every sodding day!

We're currently in Agadir. Lovely weather, low 20's from about 10am-5pm. Cool at night and early morning.

Lots of people surfing in the sea.

Not sure, I'll let you know after my next 5th visit !

It's beautiful, & it does rain which keeps it so green.
There's a wide variety of restos - even the Michelin ones are reasonably priced.

We've been the last 2 Xmases, & it's been dry & pleasantly warm in Funchal.
