Any ideas for lovely things to do in Newcastle with a 6 and 8 year old? Is the Sage any good to take children to? And what about the Baltic? Do you know of any fab places to eat, away from the Pizza Express sort of thing? What's on your MUST DO list?

centre for life should appeal, especially if its wet, lots to see and do, v interactive, Baltic is pretty abstract, but they will enjoy walking over the bridge next to it, time it to coincide with it being lifted, if weather is decent go out to whitley bay, tynemouth, st marys lighthouse for rockpools

iamdingdong - thanks for the messages! Where is the Center for Life? I meant to add - has anyone been to the Seven Stories? Is it for children or adults??
