Hello

Does anyone have any recent suggestions for an all inclusive with a heated pool.

I went through previous threads and many of the suggested hotels are under refurbishment in 2025.

We are hoping to travel in April/May 2025 with our 3yo.

Koala seems to be suggested but lots of people hate the food?!

We are mid range budget wise.

Thank you in advance from a tired mum! X

We stayed at the Grecotel marine palace and aqua park on Crete in October. There were a couple of heated pools and the food was pretty good.

Roca Nivaria is one of the best for children that age, as 3yos can use the kids club. Unlike a lot of other hotels, the kids pool is heated too.

Cape rather!

Would you consider Egypt?
We stayed at the fabulous Tui Blue Sensatori, Sharm el sheik. Fantastic in every way. 12 minute transfer from airport.

We went to Koala Garden in Gran Canaria two years running in April and loved it. The food was great and I’m a vegetarian. Lots of variety, freshly made, no issues. Fab kids club and kids disco each night. The rooms were a brilliant set up with young children

Arum Barut in Turkey. 1 heated outdoor pool and an indoor one too.

only an hour from Antalya airport

May (not half term obviously) is low season in the Canaries so looking there might make your money go further.

Have a look on jet2holidays as you might get a free child place.

I stayed at the Paradise Park a few years ago. It was OK, there was a heated pool and a children's pool but it was a bit crowded and dated, so I'd assume it wouldn't meet the expectations of most Mumsnetters.

But I think OP that, unless you're paying a lot, AI is often going to be disappointing so you need to decide what you value - not having to think about food etc for the entire holiday or perhaps self catering and eating out a lot, plus stock up on drinks, snacks and easy food for breakfast and some lunches or dinners.

I think it's worth the minimal extra effort for a much nicer food experience - I don't like buffets for lunch and dinner.

Paradise Park, Los Cristianos, Tenerife.

I was here last December and the water in the pools was absolutely freezing! When did you go?

jumperoo2738 · 16/12/2024 07:12

@mnahmnah thank you :)

Currently here. The family pool is heated but the others aren't.

Yes I think that was the same last year- I prefer the quieter pools but it was actually too cold for even a quick dip!
Hope you're having a lovely time! Were you caught in any bad weather last few days?
We arrive Sunday but different accomodation this year!

Landmar costa Los gigantes in Tenerife
Very family friendly
Book private transfer though as it's about 30 minutes drive from the airport so not fun on a package holiday coach transfer!

qwertasdfg · 18/12/2024 17:29

Costa Adeje Palace Tenerife has both a heated pool and an indoor pool.

rookiemere · 19/12/2024 07:52

Seaside Los Jameos has great AI and year round heated outdoor pool. In Lanzarote.

jumperoo2738 · 19/12/2024 08:01

Thanks guys. Sadly GF Gran Costa Adeje pool and Seaside Los Jameos in Lanzarote are closed for refurbishment otherwise we would have gone with one of those.

Also didn't mind Koala Garden but heated pools only until April.
