Please could anyone advise me. we are going to iceland (the country!) in a months time and my son is allowed 10kg of luggage, which is more generous than the budget airlines but even so not a huge amount. am assuming that the only thing they let you take on for 'free' is a pushchair and not a travel cot or car seat? i know the easy answer is to check with the airline but its really not very clear and i wonder if someone with more experience with travelling with children could tell me their experiences. obviously i willneed a carseat for when i get there as our friends are picking us up. also does anyone know of a more lightweight travel cot and travel high chair? has anyone tried those blow up beds for little ones? my son is 15 months.
many thanks

the lightest weight cot is the samsonite pop up one... how big is your ds? mine fitted in this cot till about 18 months... then he went into a ready bed when he moved to a bed at home.
If your ds is able to sleep on a ready bed then he should be fineon a normal bed tbh so will save on luggage

We have a material highchair that hooks over the back of a chair and ties up round ds waist.. cant think of th name of it but its tiny and its great!

The Little Life Arc 3 Travel Cot is really good - the Samsonite one is very very light but not very useful for bigger children, only for tiny babies, IMHO.

Arc 3 here

there are 2 samsonite ones, one for tiny babies and one very similar to the arc one
