Dubai - quieter area, on a beach

We are going to Dubai for a holiday/family wedding. We have never been (have been to AD) and would like to stay in a hotel on a lovely beach somewhere not noisy/crowded. Videos I see of Dubai with all the skyscrapers and busy roads do not appeal but we have to go and don't want to stay in another emirate. Thank you for any hotel recommendations!

Jumeirah Beach? The sea views are stunning! Takes about 30 mins by taxi to get to the marina and the city.

I think you would like Ras al Khaimah. I went a few years ago. You fly into Dubai airport travel an hour out of the city to a separate neighbouring emirate.
It is much quieter , there are a collection of luxury hotels on the beach and opportunities for entertainment nearby such as golf if desired.

I’m sorry I’ve just seen the bit about not going to a separate emirate. Maybe you could spend part of the trip outside the city of Dubai ?

thank you. Yes, we have thought about doing two centre as need to go to Dubai. The jumeirah beach hotel is very pricey. Are there other hotels on that beach?

Try the Jebel Ali resort. It's out of town and Dubai Marina is 20 mins away.
