If you want any chance at all of going on either Crush's coaster or Tower of Terror in the studios then i suggest you get there for about 9.30 before it opens, the go and get a fast pass from the machines next to the rides, it will tell you what time to go back and it will save you queuing. We came back last night and the queues for these rides without fast passes were over a hour long.
We found this was the same for the Peter Pan ride in the park.

Also make use of the drinking fountains thats around the park, there are some next to the band stand at the entrance when you go in. We had empty water bottles and just filled them up through the day and it saved us a fortune.

If you want any chance of getting photos taken with the characters or autographs then dont be polite when it comes to queuing, i started waiting patiently but found that you just get pushed out the way by other's so you have to be pushy and just out your kids next to the characters as they are finishing with others or you'll have no chance!!

Is there a fast pass for Crushs coaster now then, there wasnt when we went at Easter ?
We didnt bother with the characters in the park but did have a character lunch so we saw loads then. Did you have a good time ? we loved it and my 2 talk about it all of the time still.

Your last paragraph brings back so many memories. People are just awful the pushing and shoving is unbelievable. In the end I took the autograph book and pen, as my dd was nearly in tears at the rudeness of people.

Other tips:-
Go to the hypermarket which is one stop down on the train at Val D'Europe to stock up on supplies for your room.

There is a fast food type place where you can watch The Lion King show (near Buzz Lightyear), go there at 4pm when the main parade is on and it will be quiet. You can pick your seats and eat before The Lion King show starts at about 4.45 and gets mobbed.

Try to eat as much as you can at breakfast as the food is very very pricy. Don't eat in the hotel at night, especially not the 3 course options and definately definately not room service unless you are made of money.

Yeah im sure there was Fast Pass for Crushes Coaster..i might be mistaken but im sure there was

There is a Esso Garage next to the Santa Fe hotel as well if you want a drdink when you get back to the hotel, the prices for lager etc were shocking in the hotel.

Also try and leave the park before it closes or the buses will be a nightmare. We stayed at the Holiday Inn which is next to the Dream Castle hotel and the Explorers and we walked to the parks in the mornings which took about 20 mins, but it was better than waiting for the buses as we had a double buggy and sometimes couldn't get on them.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn when we went as well and we found that their evening buffet was good value for money.
