Last minute Christmas break

Looking for a last minute break over Christmas/New year for the three of us. Due to DH changing jobs, he not been able to commit to any days off till now. Would love to go away for five days - budget probably around £1,200 for flights and accommodation for three of us. Is it totally unrealistic? Would appreciate any ideas where you'd go or look?

where would you fly from and does it need to be abroad/warm? @Hchcwi

We'd be flying from London so any airports around where would do. Travelling with a seven year old so ideally somewhere they'd enjoy.

Tallin is beautiful at Christmas, and hotels are reasonable. I'm not sure about flights as we flew into Stockholm and caught the overnight ferry.

Budapest and Prague may also fit your budget.

Will research Budapest and Prague. Dh is a bit worried about the cold but am sure we can also find stuff to do indoors.

Gellert thermal baths are a must in Budapest.

Barcelona - nice weather, lovely beaches and lots for little ones to do.
