Disney Paris - for a day or two?

I've managed to book some cheap flights to Paris and have planned 2 days of sight seeing with my LO.

I was thinking of adding on Disneyland Paris for a day or 2, for both parks, has anyone done this but not stayed at a Disney hotel?

I've only been and stayed in Cheyenne and Newport Bay, so I'm not sure whether its worth forking out the extra to stay there or just booking the day tickets separately and staying where we're already booked.

Any tips much appreciated as my LO was 4 when we last went so i just went with the flow.

Thanks x

Go for two days, but stay off site to save money. It sounds like your dc is not very small, and I think it's only worth staying onsite if you've got young dc.

If you want to do both parks, I think you need 2 days really. I've done 2 parks in one day and felt like we needed to rush to try to do as much as possible. When we did one park per day we were able to go on rides we really liked a couple of times, watch some of the shows, take our time over lunch etc without feeling that meant missing out on other things.

Personally I wouldn't stay in a Disney hotel unless your child is young enough to want to do loads of meet and greets, and you have a large budget. I'd rather spend the money on nicer meals, extra treats/souvenirs etc.

If you are booking Disney park tickets separately from accommodation it's quite a bit cheaper to book one park tickets than tickets that allow you to go in to both parks. My preference is to buy 2 x one day one park tickets then do a park a day. Last time we went I booked tickets through picniq. I was a bit unsure at first as they seemed much cheaper and I tend to be of the opinion that if it looks too good to be true it probably is, but having checked reviews etc I decided to go for it. I had some questions about what was included in the tickets they offer and used their whatsapp chat service, which answered my questions really quickly. Then the booking process was quick and easy and the tickets worked without any problems. I'm not in any way connected to them, just pleasantly surprised with the service!
