Which area near Copenhagen?

Hi, I would really appreciate help from anyone who either lives near Copenhagen or knows it well. We are looking at places to stay next summer with our young children and have narrowed it down to 2 places. One is in Husum and the other is in Dyssegård. We would like to visit the bakken, tivoli, museums, zoo etc as well as going to Sweden for the day. Can anyone advise which area of the 2 would be better? It seems transport links are good for both but I don't know a great deal tbh! Thank you in advance.

Both are residential/suburban areas and have S-train stations - the S-trains will take you to central Copenhagen in about 20 minutes from both areas.

I would look at how close you will be to the train station and choose which accomodation you like best.

Thank you for your reply @DaneMum I think one has a bus stop right outside that I think takes you to the train station and the other is a close walk to a train station. One is a house with a garden and thr other an apartment but the house is more expensive. Does it also tend to be quieter in August when the children there have gone back to school?

I would avoid depending on the bus if possible - especially if travelling with a pushchair or pram. Buses only allow two of these at a time and you risk waiting for a long time if there is no room.

Both areas are relatively quiet I would say - both during summer and term time. There is not a lot going on at any time :-)
