I probably already know the answer to this but thought I'd double check. Someone else has very kindly booked the flights for the two of us. One hold case between us. But, instead of choosing 20kg, they've booked 10kg. I know there's no refund the 10kg. I don't really want to pay £45 each way to upgrade the size. Could just buy another case - not 100% sure of cost.
So, has anyone just up sized their hold case any other way than the above options?
We could, of course, just pay the £12 per 1kg overweight if that's more cost effective.
We will try to pack light but I'm biting my tongue at not saying "Why didn't you book the 20kg?" as it was by accident.
