Cheaper version of Air Tag?

Is there such a thing, does anyone know? I’m guessing the technology isn’t that cutting edge any more and could be produced more cheaply

(I can see similar looking things on Amazon, but the reviews aren’t good. I guess it is the Apple network that adds to the capability of the Air Tag, so perhaps I have answers my own question)

Chipolo, they have different versions for apple or android
