Karma hotel preview stay ? Scam?

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of this. I have been offered a preview stay at one of the above groups hotels.
It does say there is a presentation you have to attend so I'm guessing that's a time share thing. Think I'm strong enough not to sign up for anything !?
Hotels look great.
Just if something seems too good to be true it usually is too good to be true.

Is it Salford Hall? I stayed there as part of this deal. The hotel was ok, very tired and desperately in need of a refurb. Not in a very nice area and restricted to eating in the hotel due to the location. We had to change rooms as the first one was grotty. The presentation is a typical time share type thing. We said no although the hotels did look lovely they are all secluded and not easy to access. If you go knowingvwhat you're getting into it's a nice, cheap break.

That's great . There's a choice of several all around the world.! Including a cruise!!

They're what used to be called timeshare. Their hard sale gave the industry a bad name . However my late in-laws had a timeshare in Madeira and went for the same weeks every year and made friends with others including a member of Scandinavian royalty. They also used to get free weeks elsewhere with discounted flights.

From this my take will be you'll have a long and boring presentation to sit through, and then eventually they'll tell you the price and then try to get you to sign up there and then. Please make sure that you really read the fine print if you do want to go ahead.

Yes I've got no intention of signing up for anything and may not even do it . But it does seem that some of the hotels are nice looking at the trip advisor reviews.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but has anyone done this? I've been offered a choice of Europe, Thailand or Bali and am trying to decide whether to go or not
