You’re rolling the dice really. I’ve been looking at it as well for October half term as it’s Significantly cheaper - some years might be glorious (I think last year was judging by the forums) and others a bit wet. We were in corfu for may half term and had some rain so there is never going to be a guarantee even in peak season.

We went to Ikos Dassia in October half term in 2021 and the weather was mixed - a few days of lovely sunshine but also a couple of days of rain. Evenings were chilly - you will need a sweater or fleece if you want to sit outside.

Hmm Greece is very hit and miss late October and the Ionian islands are quite rainy. Also a lot of restaurants etc shut by then although guess that’s ok if you plan to eat in resort.

Are you able to switch to Cyprus or southern Turkey as these are a lot safer weather wise (not 100% safe but much more)?

Or if it has to be an Ikos, the one on Kos might be best weather wise, although expect it may be full for that reason.

Thanks you are right Cyprus or Kos would be warmer. It does have to be Ikos as due to mobility issues we need the Buggies to take us around the resort.
we are so limited with flight days as only Dassia is okay for the school holiday Kos is mid week
Just have to hope for the best and the Sunshine gods😂 As long as we have a few dry days we will be fine
