Ibiza for 2 old non ravers

What's there to do if you aren't into clubs etc?

Is it a good destination for walking or history and nice food? And if so where would you stay?

Local airport starting direct flights and we are tempted.

It has some pretty beaches, a little bit of history but it’s v v expensive.

Old town is gorgeous, lots of lovely streets to wander in the evening, there's often street parades/dancers too.

Restaurants are in abundance, and there's the fort you can climb for stunning sunsets. In the day you can visit the markets that take place in various places on the island, visit some of the gorgeous beaches along to east/north coast.

Personally I prefer Menorca and Majorca, although the old town and fort is very nice and tiny Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera is very cute. We hiked from San Antonio up the road to Cala Saladeta and then back down the coast passing Puta Galera back to San Antonio (we were definitely glad we stayed in Ibiza town rather than SA - stay in Dalt Vila area if you can!). We also went out to Cala d'hort and hiked along the coast there.

I find the DWG hiking maps really helpful when planning places to walk and them for all 3 islands,

We're too old non ravers and stayed in Santa Eulalia. It was lovely for swimming and snorkeling. We self catered and ate out daily and didn't find it particularly expensive. Food about the same as UK mid range, alcohol cheaper. There was a lovely tapas restaurant with an internal courtyard, we went there twice.

There's a coastal path that you can walk around island, also buses to other places but we only went 1 place just a bit further east as we were only there 4 days.

Flight over was a bit lively though.

We really like Mallorca, up in the north west in the mountains. I'm just not sure Ibiza would have enough really....
