Hi mumsnet
i’d love your wisdom! Planning a holiday with friends and various kids/grandkids next year. Will be looking for an air b n b.
Would love to go to Italy. I’d be really grateful for your recommendations.
We’d like a fairly quiet/not super touristy area - would like to be short walking distance to a fairy quiet beach.
Ideally not much more than an hour from an airport.
Any guidance will be gratefully received!
Thank you ☺️

Southern Sicily - Fontane Bianca and Lido di Noto or Marzamemma from Catania?
I am looking at Puglia for next year - we went to Monopoli this year but best beaches were all out of town. Otranto / Gallipoli / Porto Cesaro. Fly to Bari or Brindisi. The beach at Cappricioli in Sardinia is gorgeous. I think there is accommodation dotted around there and not far from Olbia airport.

Capriccioli is better spelling...

Cefalu, Sicily is idyllic with something for all age ranges. Great restaurants.

Cousin lives in Pescara in the Adriatic coast. Think there's an airport there and we get loads of beach photos.

Thank you everyone - that’s really helpful.

I was going to say Cefalu too! Or Cala Gonone in Sardinia.
