Planning USA 30th Trip for DH

Hi folks,

DH is 30 in November 2025 and I really want to surprise him with a trip to USA.

I know he would love to see Washington DC.

My plan is:

Arrive in Boston, 3 days there
Train to NYC for 4 days
Train to Washington DC for 4 days
Then fly home via Washington

Has anyone done something similar and is there any good activities/events/landmarks you'd recommend?

We've been to NYC before but it was 9 years ago.

I'm going to try and get tickets to a basketball game too if possible as he loves all that and I'm thinking Madison Square Gardens would be my best bet!

Just looking for ways to make it special as he's had a rotten time of it lately. X

Yes I've done something similar a few times and it was fab.

My one tip is to book a multi destination package with British Airways, it really works out cheaper.
