Malaga and Grenada in December

How many days would you do in each?

We had a fabulous time in Faro and Seville last December. Faro only needed a day, but Seville was fabulous for 4 days.

Has anyone been to Malaga in December? We will get the flix bus between the two cities.

I spend a lot of time in Malaga including most Decembers and the weather can be lovely - around 20/22 degrees. Lots to do in the city too - museums, cultural sites, great tapas bars and restaurants. It also has a beach and the weather can be good enough for beach activities in December too.

GrAnada (I am assuming you mean the Spanish city rather than the Carribean island GrEnada way you have spelt it!) is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It can be quite chilly at that time of year and of course has a famous skiing resort further up the mountain but again is a really lovely place to visit. You can easily visit the two on the same trip.

Thank you. Yes, Granada not Grenada!!! We were thinking 2 days in Malaga and 3 days in Granada. Or would 3 days in Malaga and 2 days in Granada be better?

I would say yes, 3 days in Malaga and then 2 days in Granada. Make sure you pre-book your Alhambra tickets. But if you love Sevilla you will love both of these cities. Hugely atmospheric and cultural, even just wandering around and taking in the old buildings and stopping for tapas.
