Santorini in October?

Has anyone been to Santorini in mid October? Was it sitting by the pool weather? Not much of a sunbather but do like to lounge about with a book!

It was a bit mixed when we went. Some days it was perfect for lounging and eating on terraces and other days we did need an umbrella as it got a bit drizzly. It was still warm but breezy. Overall though we had more warm, dry days than not.

Edit: we went for 5 days. 3 of the days you could lounge with a book outdoors, 1 of the days was a lot cooler and we didn't use the outdoor hot tub and one 1 of the days it rained and was overcast.

I went end of sept/early Oct for my honeymoon. One day torrential rain, rest were sunny and we could swim but needed a layer on at night. Things were starting to close for the off season in terms of restaurants etc.
