Airbnb host not responding - should I be worried?

We are heading to France on Saturday. For the first 4 nights we have an Airbnb booked in our favourite beach town in Brittany. We booked it in January and have been really excited; it's a beachfront property in the centre of town. We've walked past these properties loads of times and I've always said how much I'd like to stay in one.
Anyway, I was looking at the Airbnb listing last week and I noticed there had been no reviews for the property since last September. Prior to that it has received pretty good reviews for 5-6 years (100 reviews in total). The host has another property in the same town; exactly the same thing. Lots of reviews that end in August 2023.
I then sent the host a brief message on Saturday morning just saying "hi, just checking all is still ok for our stay next week". I have not had a reply, and I can see the message is unread.
Obviously this is worrying. I contacted Airbnb via instant chat last night, but all they kept saying was "your reservation is confirmed, don't worry" and that I need to give the host longer to reply. I do understand that there might be reasons they can't reply immediately, but it's the combination of that, plus the lack of reviews that are concerning me.
How long should I leave it for her to respond before contacting Airbnb again?
There is almost no accommodation left in the town we want to stay in, and it's all more expensive, so if the worst comes to the worst I need to know asap to stand a chance of rebooking something.

It is absolutely shit yes, and I do want to complain, but I'm also aware I'm basically pissing in the wind. It has become apparent that they simply do not care. And that element of pissing people off has been factored into their business model. So I'm no longer giving it any headspace.

The good news is that our one night city stopover Airbnb is "incroyable". It was £150, is smack bang in the middle of the pedestrianised area of a beautiful medieval city, and I feel like I've walked into Elle decoration. Our bedroom is the size of my house! DH has gone to buy beer and snacks, and then we're off out to a creperie. Fuck Collette and her poor manners 😬

Sorry to read this op. As per usual Airbnb is beyond shite.

anyone else tempted to reverse image that room from the OP to look a future booking?!

Enjoy the rest of your holiday and push Collette the Cancel Fairy out of your mind!

Airbnb apartment in Rennes

More than happy to share a link to save reverse image searching! We're about to leave (although I'm also not sure what I'd be worried about if we weren't leaving - hordes of Mnetters turning up??)

Even better, last night DC decided they were tired from the journey and just wanted to eat burger king and watch Spiderman, so DH and I ate out a Deux nearby, at a place where there was nothing on the menu DC would have eaten. They aren't too fussy, but we have made translation mistakes before (kidneys! Salmon with cabbage!) and they are nervous of french restaurants that don't have steak frites or a burger.

To the beach today!

The hotel apartment is also good. A bit utilitarian but we do have a sea view from the balcony on the side (all the rooms face the car park). It is reminding me of a song my kids put together a few years ago for me, as they are so familiar with my common complaints in holiday homes. It was to the tune of favourite things, and was something along the lines of "lids for my pans, and hooks for my towels" and definitely something about two pillows each.

They are more gifted songwriters than me so it all scanned and rhymes properly, I will ask them when they wake.

Seriously though, I would like to start a campaign for at least 4 hooks per resident of a property. And if your holiday home is near the beach provide a drying rack for beach towels, and a broom for all the sand we're going to drag in! Why are all the glasses so tiny!! Why only one pillow each? 6 coat hangers between 4 people! It's so mean.

(This is generic moaning though, I'm very pleased that our intense googling on Thursday managed to produce this)

We too had a nightmare with Airbnb recently. Booked a villa months ahead only for the host to cancel just weeks before. Airbnb support were a nightmare to deal with. Luckily we found another host with several properties who was very sympathetic and helpful and found us somewhere else. Airbnb had given us a £100 voucher to use against a new booking but when we went to use it, found it had t&Cs attached that hadn't been made clear and they refused to apply it. Had a massive fight with them as I felt it was unfair and they eventually caved in but was so stressful - lots of computer says no moments! A colleague had similar issues - her host cancelled last minute too. We'd used Airbnb for UK short breaks with no problem previously but I doubt I'll ever use them for a main holiday again.
