Renting car in Turkey

I want to rent a car next week for my trip , but I’m worried I won’t have enough on my CC to cover all the expenses . I’ve only got £600 left on my card

does anyone know if the rental companies charge for a deposit and insurance excess ? I’ve not rented a car before so I’m not sure how it works

any recommendations on a company ? I was thinking to use Enterprise 🤔

Most car rental companies, including Enterprise, usually require a deposit of around £200–£300, depending on the car and location. They also typically ask for insurance excess, a kind of deductible if anything happens to the car.

We rented a car in Italy for two weeks. The deposit was£45 then they added an extra refundable £400 on top of the £260 it cost us to hire the car in case of any damages etc.

We usually book with a local company. Pay cash up front and no deposit. Much prefer it that way.
