10 nights or 7 nights: WWYD?

Thinking of going on a long haul holiday (Barbados) for some winter sun.

I only have enough annual leave for:

i) 7 nights in Barbados and then use 3 days annual leave to have a full week off at Christmas; or

ii) 10 nights in Barbados and only the bank holiday days off at Christmas.

WWYD?

I say 10 nights in Barbados. It’s a long way to go for just a week.

Definitely 10 nights in Barbados. It'll take you a couple of days to get over the jetlag.

We did Barbados for a week and it was fine! From the UK. However I find endless time off at Christmas a bit dull so I’d rather work it- but we live locally to all UK based family so no travel to spend Christmas with them.
