We are a couple in our 60's like to watch live entertainment.
Anywhere that does afternoon or early evening shows.
Good bars and nice restaurants.
Don't want a hilly destination.
Will be going bed and breakfast.
Is magaluf more suited to teenagers.
Palma Nova
Alcudia
Puerto polensa.
Is there any other resorts that are NOT quiet.

Any suggestions please.

Cala Bona or Cala Millor. Very flat all the way along to Sa Coma, lovely harbour in Cala Bona. Bars/restaurants all the way along the promenade. Live music on in hotels and bars. We love it there.

You won't find much on-stage entertainment in the afternoons at most places in Mallorca. Some of the hotels that cater to the 18-30 crowd will have a DJ around the pool, maybe pool/foam parties, but most people go to the beach or pool during the day and the entertainment starts later. Also this is Spain, where 7pm is still considered the afternoon.

The liveliest resorts are those that cater mostly or substantially to German visitors: Playa de Palma/Arenal, Cala Ratjada, Cala Millor. At Playa de Palma the bars get together to put professionally-printed posters up in the bus shelters at 7am saying which guest DJs or reality stars are appearing that day, but again, it's all in German.

The liveliest places for Brits are Magaluf and Alcúdia. I guess you might find something on the Magaluf strip in the afternoon, but most people are still sleeping off the night before. It's definitely not just for teenagers, though.

I think Palma Nova/Magaluf will be your best bet. We have been to can Picafort and Alcudia, can picafort is more of a quieter family friendly resort Alcudia is more lively but I don't think you'll get afternoon live entertainment there. The east side of the island is quieter.
Depends which hotel you pick in Magaluf but it's not all 18-30s types
