Car Rental Paphos

We're planning to go away to Paphos in Cyprus next May with DD, who will be 16 months old by then. Does anyone have any recommendations on a car rental company that can also supply a car seat for her?

I would expect that any of the big car rental companies at an airport location will supply car seats. You can go to book to see if it pops up as an add-on option, and then not actually complete the booking if you’re still comparing prices. The issue is that in the ‘toddler’ category it might be a poor quality forward facing seat so if that would bother you then I’d plan to take your own.

Take your own. Attitudes to car safety in Cyprus are very different to the UK and rental car seats are often quite alarmingly poor, even on top of this!

You've got loads of time to keep an eye out for good deals/ask around friends and family to see if anyone has a lightweight spare they are getting rid of or willing to lend, but Joie, Graco and Cozy n Safe all do some decent belt fitted cheapy ones, and Maxi Cosi Nomad is a better than nothing kind of travel option if you're worried about the other seats being too bulky. (I would just consider this one quite carefully as 16 months is too little to forward face really - but IMO, better FF in your own seat you know the history of from a decent brand than in some ancient broken thing from a hire company).

Take your own, at 16 months they still fit in the maxi cosi one so easier to take and carry around

Oh yes good point actually - most infant carriers are also plane approved if you wanted to take it in the cabin as well (you do need to buy them their own seat to do this).
