Hi, I'm looking for dresses for holidays (Tenerife in July so it will be very hot) I'm seeing lots of strapless dresses but hate strapless bras. Do most of you:

1. wear strapless bras & suffer on
2. have your (same colour) bra straps on show
3. go braless

I'm 43 (size 30E) so don't know if braless is an option for me.

I'm usually a shorts/vest top type girl on holiday but I'm trying to up my game.

What do you wear on holidays and still look nice.

Option 4 , choose a non strapless dress

Yup, strapless is not an option here! I’m 45 with big boobs so I just buy dresses I can wear a bra with, strapless bras are never good imo.

Strapless bras are a no-no. Buy dresses with shoestring straps and wear a proper bra

Don't buy strapless dresses

Do not wear strapless bra, buy a bra with a lovely strap or a nice colour and then wear with spaghetti strap dresses.

lol. I know but all the pretty dresses that I am seeing are strapless/thin straps. Think I will do like another poster said and buy a bra with pretty straps.

I like the shirred top type dress it keeps them secure enough to walk to bar, restaurant and back to hotel 😂

I wear a strapless bra. Try Wonderbra Ultimate, I'm a 30G and it is perfectly fine to wear all day. Alternatively, I would rather have bikini straps on show than bra, so with some dresses, I wear bikini tops in matching colours. And third option, sew a bra into the dress.

I either try to buy dresses with the ruffle shoulder straps that cover a bra strap well or if it's bandeau, I like a ruffle across the front so I can go braless without it being obvious.
I do have a really comfortable body all in one that can be worn strapless from Next, it's good for over here but on holiday it might be too hot!
