New York - last time?

I love New York. I am 63. I have been several times with OH, friends and solo. I am currently in a cafe, Alicia Keys' New York just came on and I got quite choked up at the thought of never seeing it again. Am I too old for one last solo trip? I can afford it and am in reasonable health.

Of course you aren’t too old! NYC doesn’t come with an upper age limit.

Why do you think you are too old? Do you have health or mobility issues?

I am inspired by the older generation in my family who are still doing lots of travelling well into their 80s

Umm. Last time I checked New York allowed over 60s in. What is your worry exactly?

It can be a bit of a frantic city but plenty of older people actually live in New York and seem fine.

We went again at Easter, after a gap of a few years. There were plenty of singleton older women out and about, and women eating alone in restaurants was definitely a thing. If you want to go again and have no other issues that may be preventing you from travelling, then you go girl!
