Terminal 5 - have you been there?

I am due to fly out tomorrow and wondered if anyone had been to T5 and what they thought of it?? Are the shops any good or just the same as the other terminals?

my dad went 10 days ago and flew back 5days ago

no idea bout shops but i do know he was in building 'b' (where had been told to be)

at last minute was made to take train to building 'a'

got to building a and sent back to building b but a train was broken down in tunnel and they had to walk...

and at building b they were sent back to building a... where they eventually took off from 4 hours late

he DID get his luggae both ways though

There's only one building at Terminal 5, though. Was your dad moving between different terminals?

all i know he was sent from b to a to b back to a again and the train stopped working so they had to walk it instead!

i survived! didnt have to do the train, just stayed in a. Flight was delayed a bit though but security was good and shops ok. Got a good bobbi brown lipstick
