Hi.
Me and my DP have booked a week in Algarve with my 8mt DS little worried about what i can take on flight, and what to do with him when we are outside, on beach etc. The outside of the villa has a pool and concrete edge but worried about what to put him in when hes playing outside, also on the beach, dont want him eating sand for a week.

Is there anything else i should be getting.... ; )

I have a small pop up suntent you can have as we no longer need it. It was invaluable when dds were small and needed a sleep.
You can take the car seat on the flight but check with you airline first. Also you are each entitled to a small ziplock bag full of 100ml or less bottles, tubes etc. The airstewardess will provide you with hot water so you can take empty bottles of any volume and the milk powder separately but be prepared to taste it! We also took a very small paddling pool with us and I don't think ever filled it with water but the girls played for ages on the grass with trucks cars etc
