Costa del Sol in October recommendations please

Where would you all recommend for a week away in October? We want somewhere quiet and relatively undeveloped. We're flying into Malaga but are happy to drive for up to a couple of hours to get somewhere with the right feel. Thanks!

We'll be in the Western Costa del Sol then staying around Manilva. Not actually stayed there before but have visited a few of the resorts whilst staying further east. Much quieter in the west but not sure undeveloped, as such, really applies to anywhere on the Costa del Sol unless you go inland, so not actually the costa. We are intending to visit Cadiz as part of our trip too as it's a city that has so far escaped us due to its far west location. Resorts include Estapona, Casares and La Duquesa.

Cordoba would be lovely for a few days. Maybe do a two-centre break with a few days there and then a few days somewhere along the coast.

Benhavis is very pretty- a village in the mountains nearish Estepona.

Thanks for the suggestions, will get looking. Never been to the area but the flights were a bargain so thought we'd try somewhere new!

Ronda, Gaucin, Jimena are all very nice.
