Vienna with children

Just posting in case anyone has any tips!

I really adore central Europe and loved visiting Vienna in my early 20s - this year we've decided to take our boys (age 3 and 6) to Vienna for 10 days at the end of July. First trip abroad since 2019 so everyone is very excited.

Just wondering if anyone had been to Vienna with kids and had any tips for museums/restaurants etc.? I'm guessing the kids won't be too happy if I drag them to the Freud museum! Not sure whether a trip to the Spanish riding school would be a good shout for this age group? There's loads of tips online but if anyone had experience of Vienna in recent years I'd love to hear tips.

I imagine you’ll be spending lots of time at Prater. On the Jesuitenwiese meadow, there is a great wild-west themed park with an epic slide. Then, a short stroll away, Max Winter Park has splashy water tunnels and fountains. Take swimming stuff and a towel. There’s another brilliant water playground on Danube Island. Again, take swim stuff and also a beach mat and some buckets and spades. If you need some supplies, there is a small kiosk selling beach toys, ice cream and drinks. There are also showers for cleaning up afterwards!
I definitely recommend the Zoom Kindermuseum but just be warned, it is crucial to book before you go (some workshops can book up days in advance).

Natural History museum is good. Love the Prater, especially in the evening.
