Pula with small kids

We're planning to go to Pula for 5 days at the end of June with our 4yo and 1yo.
We're planning to rent a car and drive to Venice one day, see some Roman ruins one day, spend one day at the beach... but I know that what the kids would enjoy the most is a few hours at a decent playground! (I know, why go abroad only to go on the same bloody swings you can go on in your hometown? 🤦🏼‍♀️)
Has anyone been to a good playground around there, or done something else that your toddlers have really enjoyed??

I’ve just been having a reminisce on Google Maps as we did a big family holiday with a stop in Pula when my nephews were a similar age to your DC.

I remember there being a decent enough (for a city centre) play park in Park Franje Josipa 1 right by the port - it was great because most of the play equipment was in the shade under some trees so it wasn’t too hot. It wasn’t massive or super innovative, but had a pirate ship climbing area and the usual swings / slides / ride on things.

They also loved the aquarium, can definitely recommend that. There is another nice play park in the same complex as the aquarium - it’s in an old fortress building.
