Fuerteventura in August?

Hi everyone,

We went to Fuerteventura at the end of last October and had the best time...We totally fell in love with the place. We're thinking of going back this year and we're not sure October is going to work for us this time - does anyone know what it's like in August? The weather was perfect last time, and we didn't find the wind a bother at all - will we feel the same in August? Also, are the resorts busier? We'll be staying in an Airbnb again, slightly off the beaten track but just wondering if the towns will be rammed!

Thanks

Weather will be the same, just hotter, and it will be much, much more crowded with families and children.

We found it just nicely busy. Easily got tables in restaurants/space on the beaches. It was very windy and our Airbnb was on a hillside facing the sea, so sitting out was sometimes a challenge! Weather was perfect I seem to remember.

We were on the west coast if that makes a difference.

Thanks!
Trouble is, our last experience felt so perfect, I guess it'll be impossible to emulate!
We were in the north in an inland village close to Corralejo and El Cottilo.

It will be perfect in August. That wind will keep the temperature down but at the same time the sea and pools which can be chilly in June or October are that bit warmer in August.
We have stayed in Corralejo in July and August. Once when DC were 7/8 ish and again with them as late teens. Of course it's busier in school holidays but it's nicely busy not overcrowded.

We went in august years ago . Hot obviously but windy so you never felt overcooked. In contrast we had a day in Lanzarote the same holiday and it was ridiculously hot . It was lovely on Fuerteventura .
