Visiting Rotterdam with kids aged 3 and 5 next month. DH has a work even so I'm free wheeling with the kids. Will just be 1 day.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Pinball museum looks good but not sure they're quite old enough to appreciate it. They don't need a whole lot to be happy but would like to do something nice! And that you can only do in Rotterdam/ Holland.

Thanks for any ideas! 😊

Miniworld and Rotterdam Zoo. The zoo is one of the best in the country.

There’s also the Pancake Boat cruise which isn’t as good as the ones in Amsterdam, but still a bit novel and something you can’t do in many other places.

Rotterdam has an amazing maritime museum with fun play things.

There are little boats outside the maritime museum that you can book to have a go in, only for a short time but its good fun especially if you are visiting the maritime museum anyway - kidsmarina.nl In my view, they are a bit young for the Pinball Museum, when we went it was very busy and noisy and mainly teens and older, although the area which it is in is lovely. Haven't visited but from what I've read, Plaswijckpark would be good for your age group. The Markthal is also very cool (and central) and great for taking out some food if you are able to sit outside, again your kids are probably a bit young to appreciate it but you would probably enjoy having a look around! You can also see the cube houses from there which I loved. Enjoy!
