LA Hotel/itnierary 4 nights

We have 4 night pre cruise in LA - we have a few to plan it just casting out for ideas!

Have so far - Universal Studios, Griffith observatory and Santa Monica

Would like a nice hotel. Not driving will get Ubers.

I have seen The Garland hotel on YouTube and it looks nice??

Whale watching
Day trip to San Diego

California science centre is fantastic, and it's next to some tar pits which are interesting. Hollywood very rough, don't bother.
Disney California Adventure very fun.

Thanks! We are going to San Diego on the cruise and will do whale watching on Santa Catalina.

What's wrong you Hollywood? Is it tacky?

Would second the CA science center but part of it is under construction currently due to the space shuttle exhibit being remodelled. It’s also some distance away from the La Brea tarpits which is also interesting.

Hollywood blvd around Manns Chinese theater and the Kodak theater where the Oscars are held can be full of tourists and is certainly not at all glam. Would not bother with the Hollywood walk of fame either.
