RyanAir @ Newquay: Thoughts on changeover

H and I are splitting up. Have a week holiday booked in Cornwall in May for us and boys. Considering doing a few days each, him taking my car and the boys down, then me (and maybe my mum) flying down mid-week and him flying back, then me driving car and boys back at the end.
Just looking at RyanAir, flights are £10 each way (inc taxes) so perfectly do-able BUT if I go in the evening my flight would land at 6.35pm and his depart at 7pm.
I am thinking it's not do-able - as we would have to meet up to hand over the boys. Any thoughts?
Other option I guess is for him to fly back early the next morning (early morning and early evening flights only) and either both stay in the cottage that night, he he stays in a hotel near the airport.

Yes, looking at the timings I realised it wasn't realistic.
Just looked and Flybe and EasyJet don't (it's to Stansted) and I didn't find anything searching on Opodo.
I looked at the train and it costs a bloody fortune, as well as taking forever.
I am leaning towards a shared night, or him in a hotel near airport. Shared night would be ok if just me, but not if my mum comes aswell.

thanks for that site, just checked and it's only RyanAir who do it.
Ok, so him leaving on the plane I have just arrived on isn't an option. Need to speak to him and see what he wants to do.
Thanks for your replies.

What age are your DC? Could they safely wait in the cafe till you arrive?

2 and 5 - so no, but a good thought. Actually smiling at the thought of leaving ds1 to look after ds2 in a cafe
