Ambleside - baby friendly

Heading to Ambleside in May and looking for any recs for drop in baby groups/soft play/ similar? Going on our first post baby holiday with friends and worried that I won’t be able to keep LO occupied! He will be 1 year (just) and is crawling everywhere 🙈

There used to be a soft play in Ambleside but sadly no more. Others may be along to say otherwise but I think the nearest to Ambleside may be at Rheged in Penrith. Going south there may be one in Kendal.
