Do you have an recommendations of places to visit? Tourist attractions or even places locals would take their kids?

We are going in May and can't find much online

Hi OP, I live in Porto, I suggest you look up Geres and the Douro Valley. Braga has some pretty places.

I wrote this very little blog post but sums up some northern places. Arouca park and Geres are great places to explore for hiking, waterfalls and nature fun.
