book Wonderlab

If they like gaming book Power Up.

Wonderlab is great- definitely go to that.

Power Up is great if they like gaming, but be prepared to be sitting there for hours while they sit playing games! I think it’s great if you need a break and want to sit in your phone with a beer ( they have a bar) but as something for the family, I found it not the best way to bond. They do have lots of retro games from the 80’s which is fine but my two just wanted to play the modern stuff!

Wonderlab is great! Much better experience than the rest of the museum - the most interesting stuff, and much less crowded.

Also, the IMAX cinema

Would also add that you are there 10-5.

I would also go to natural history museum with them

I really wish people would stop posting random AI generated posts in MN. I’ve seen several of these useless posts now. What’s the point? Why bother adding some AI crap about theme park packages in response to a thread on the science museum? Just don’t bother!

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 25/03/2024 09:51

Theme parks? in central London?

Zoommeout · 25/03/2024 14:37

Thank you for the responses. How long do you think we would spend in wonderlab?
I’ve just been on the website and booked my free admission slot for 11 but couldn’t get anything earlier that 3pm for the three of us which is really annoying :(

My kids can spend hours in the wonderlab. There are regular science shows which are good fun and take 20 min or so. I find usually if you arrive a bit early they let you in unless they are really very busy so worth wandering by before 3pm.

Couple of hours is fine in wonderlab, but you can easily spend longer.

check on the various shows and plan your two hours around it.

also as pps have said, try and go a bit earlier…maybe fall on mercy of a staff member at door and say you need to catch an earlier bus!
