Curious to hear from those who have been to Disney Land Florida. Where did you stay, what did you do, what ticket package did you buy, and how much it all cost etc.

It's Disney World in Florida.

There are so many options - a villa with private pool, an apartment with shared pool, a hotel (on Disney site or off). Costs vary so much.

We went last year late summer, 4 of us, stayed in a nice resort with a number of pools and restaurants, got a hire car and Disney tickets and it cost around £7,000

Hi OP there's a fantastic Facebook group called "It's Orlando Time" that I thoroughly recommend you join. It has lots of knowledgeable people and it has a real sense of community.

I've been to Orlando quite a few times and always stay off site in a villa with swimming pool in a gated community. There are different tiers of hotel in the Disney World Resort - some substantially cheaper than others.

I usually have to go in the school holidays but for the first time ever, we're going out of holidays this year. Flights cost us £1600 with BA to Orlando International Airport. There are four of us: DH and me with our 3yo and 1yo. 3yo is now a full priced ticket for Disney and 1yo is free. We've bought a 14 day pass so that we can go as and when. This was approximately £1100. Our villa was £2000 for two weeks and we have rented a car on top of this, plus we will have spending money. All in all, the trip will have cost us around £8k.

I’ve been twice and stayed on site, but it was in the days of free dining packages. It’s a much less attractive option without as the food is very expensive.
we used to pay about £5k for 3 of us, plus flights.
