my friend and i are meeting up half way- she will be travelling south on the M6, we will be travelling north on the M6
we thought Lancaster would be a good half way meet

does anyone know of a family pub with play area not that far from the M6?

thanks very much

Hi, there's a pub just off the M6 at the junction before lancaster going north - where the M55 heads to Blackppol.

come off the motorway - signposted garstang/preston A6, take 1st exit (left) and it's just there . you can see it as you come down the slip road.

sorry, can't remember what it's called.

Try 5 minutes away , SantaQ. Can't link to actual page but go to M6, then J34, then food/pub and there is a pub called The Lancastrian with play area. Or J33, the New Holly. Gives directions. Very useful site!

wow jan - what a brill site...have book marked it. have also discovered that there's a Travel Inn with play den just off J34 so we are spoiled for choice
