Domestic flying and identification for 8 week old

Does my baby (now 8 weeks old) need to have photo ID to fly budget airlines in the UK? Haven't managed to find any info on this with easyjet. And do you know how long it would take to get him a passport? Ta!

i never bothered with photo id when they were babys, in fact only got them passports when we were travelling abroad, would take birth certificate, most times you do the online check in and no one checks them anyway,
