North Dorset / South Somerset

Meeting up with friends in North Dorset (not far from Yeovil) on Sunday evening. We live an hour plus north of this but thought we would make a day of it with the boys (four, nearly two). Weather forecast is now shite. Any suggestions?

What's the Fleet Air Museum like?

They need exercising or get grumpy . And where can we go for lunch as charming country pubs are likely to be stuffed to rafters?

Fleet Air museum is great, my dc have always loved it, also Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford is always a hit, plenty for the kids to see (cars mainly ) but things to do outside as well if it is not wet.

Haynes has a Bob the Builder event on this weekend - think it's Sunday and Monday, if they are into that

My nearly two year old is indeed into Bob. Haynes might win .
