New York in April

3.5 days in New York mother (61) and daughter (30). I've been before many years ago (and more recently but confined to the hotel due to Hurricane Sandy and did nothing!)

Any must dos, hints or tips?

Two things we had to book a long time in advance -

-To climb to the crown at the Statue of Liberty. We also booked first thing in the morning as the queues were shorter for security etc.
-To go to the Blue Box Cafe in Tiffanys

Other things we enjoyed -

NY Mets Baseball game
Walking the high line
Walking over the Brooklyn Bridge
Central Park
Broadway show - was £££ though
We did Empire State Building at night after the Broadway show and Top of the Rock first thing in the morning as soon as they opened and didn't queue at either of them

A sunset harbour cruise was also great.

We didn't go to any museums/galleries which was a shame . . . . .

Little Italy for dinner in an Italian restaurant , Circle line round Manhattan https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/AttractionProductReview-g60763-d11447902-Circle_Line_Complete_Manhattan_Island_Cruise-New_York_City_New_York.html. Guggenheim museum

Just some ideas - others are available.

Macy’s hosts an annual flower show. It usually lasts for just 2 weeks but hopefully some of that will coincide with when you’re there. The dates haven’t been released for this year yet.
