We had originally booked Puy St. Vincent for a week of family skiing this Easter (31st March), but we travelled the same week last year and the snow wasn’t great, even for us intermediates! Plus the resort seemed to be shutting down as last week of the season so limited food stocks in the supermarket, a few shops were closed and only a few restaurants still open.
We have flights booked to Turin so looking at accommodation in Montegenevre as short transfer and looks like a family friendly resort with good ski schools. Accommodation options are limited however as booking quite late 😩
Hotel Chalet Blanc and Hotel Anova seem to have rooms, but not sure how easy it is to access the main ski school meeting point/resort centre? Can you ski easily into the rest of the resort? Think they’re in the Obelisque area and fairly near a lift?
