Looking for a family friendly hotel, poss St Lucia or Antigua but open to suggestions.Children will be 13 and 11. Problem with all the ones I have looked at is that they offer rooms with 2 large beds for a family. No way will my DD sleep in the same bed as her brother! Don't fancy anything too huge or where you have to dress up for dinner.

Have you thought about the

Almond Beach Village in Barbados. I've put a review on this site last year. But it's particularly good for all different ages of children as it has separate clubs for teens (even a teen disco), and they get access to free internet, watersports etc all included.

You do dress up a bit for dinner, long trousers for men and collared shirts, but tbh honest that is usual in the Caribbean. Also just realised that this might be too large a resort for you. However, I would have a look & see what you think.

Thanks Pesto,
There seems to be Almond resorts on most of the islands and they all look lovely. I think DH will have to put up with the long trousers and shirts. His idea of a good holiday is one where he can wear shorts every day!
