We are going to Valencia next weekend for three full days. Weather looks nice.
Anyone been? Any tips, hints, what to do in this time?
TIA

Valencia is cool. I HATED it the first time I went, felt 'closed' & boring. But then ended up living there for a few months & lived it.

i love the old city, sangria in the rotunda. Walking down to the beach. The Arts centre, cycling everywhere, walking/cycling through the gardens in the old canal, probably not available st the moment, but open air cinema at night (not so good watching horror films then walking home alone!!)

they do fireworks like nowhere else!!

We all loved Valencia! The City of the Sciences is really lovely for a wander round and the aquarium is good for kids. The old town is lovely and there are some nice restaurants down by the beach (you can get there on the bus). We rented a 4-person bike thing for a ride along the dried up river bed - now a park called the Turia gardens. And try some horchata - it's very sweet but it's a Valencian speciality. You can get it in the covered market.

We spent time just wandering around, soaking up the atmosphere within the different quarters, visited the cathedral, sat having drinks, eating, visited the beach and the oceanic centre .
