Tips for Dubai with a 7 month old

We are travelling to Dubai in Feb with our 7 month old. Any tips or places we should (or shouldn't) visit. I've been to Dubai before pre-bambino - looking for more family vibes this time. TIA!

Dubai is very family friendly so you'll have plenty of choice for things to do. It's not uncommon to see young children out in restaurants in the evening if this is something you liked to do pre baby. It's also very safe so no 'bad areas' to avoid.

Some things to do:

The lost chambers aquarium in the Atlantis. Not huge but nice to walk around and loads of restaurants in the hotel to grab a bite after or before.

Dubai Safari Park.

Palm west beach is a nice area with beach front restaurants and beach clubs. Most don't allow children after 9pm but lovely for lunch during the day or an early dinner and little one can play on the sand.

Green Planet - indoor rainforest with animals

Dubai Garden Glow - outdoor park with big light installations. My little one loved this as a baby. Very sensory.

At that age, they'll mostly just come along with whatever you want to do and be happy playing on the beach or in the pool so I wouldn't worry too much. As I said, you're welcome almost everywhere in Dubai with children.

Download Uber or Careem and you can book taxis with children's car seats if you're not bringing your own.

I would look at purchasing an esim or a 14 day tourist SIM card on arrival from either DU or Etisalat (the two main phone companies that operate in Dubai). You will need your passport for the latter option. You also need an internet connection for Uber/Careem.

The Dubai butterfly garden is worth a visit as is the nearby Dubai Miracle Garden.

You're most welcome. Dubai is a great city so I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.
