please recommend a Gatwick hotel with parking

Flying from Gatwick in Feb and need a hotel the night before and parking for 10 days. I am worried as my brother paid £££ for parking and his car was returned to him at the terminal damaged and due to the pick up/drop off high pressure rush he did not notice immediately and could not claim, then the next year he used a different company and they managed to lose his car keys!

Is there a hotel I can just park and leave the car at rather than it being moved to anther location/returned to us at the terminal?

Many thanks

Lots. Just google to see what's in your budget.

We use the valet parking and have never had a problem with it though. Gatwick official.

I have been googling and can only find hotels with off site drop off parking. I am looking for a recommendation if anyone has one, thanks.

We normally book Long stay car park and Premier Inn North terminal separately. Arrive the night before and park car, get shuttle to terminal. Hotel is opposite. Then in the morning cross the road and into the terminal. I find it cheaper this way, but I do book it all very far ahead 😊

Holiday inn

Sounds like your brother used unofficial valet parking. Use the Gatwick official valet parking - I've done this for several years no problem - and stay at the North Terminal Premier Inn.

Or if budget allows, stay at Sofitel as that is on terminal and has parking.

Other hotels have on-site parking but are not on terminal, so then you have the hassle of a bus or taxi to the airport the next morning.

Holiday extras have deals or just book the long stay car park with shuttle bus - you keep your keys

We used Airport Parking and Hotels website, stayed at Crown Plaza Felbridge. We parked in the official Gatwick long stay car park and kept our car keys (I was wary of valet parking as well!). A 15 min drive from hotel to car park and then a quick shuttle to the terminal. I would definitely do that again, very easy and good value.

thanks so much
DB used the official gatwick parking the first time then Maple the second. He may have just been unlucky but since then I keep seeing/hearing horror stories. Thank you!

We've used the official Gatwick parking valet service loads of times and never had a problem. They take a full car picture/scan on entry so it's easy to prove who has caused any issues - it's shame your DB wasn't able to check before he left.

It's not the cheapest, but reliable. Personally, I would use that and the on-airport Premier Inn.

Hi. The Skylane Hotel does a stay and park package and has a shuttle bus. Its easy to get to - on A23 and has a nice carpark. I live locally and have seen airport parking which is on any bit of land they can find. Bumper to bumper and often unattended. I can walk to several parks from my house and some of the fuckers try and park down our road. There is a ready musical car shennanigans.
