Please remind me why I (and you) like flying

I'm going to Cyprus on Thursday.

Used to have a crippling flying phobia, but after a bit of a lifechanging experience involving a cancer hospital I decided it was stupid and that I wasnt going to let it bother me anymore.

Ive been on a few flight since and been fine (actually enjoyed it), but on the last one a couple of weeks ago I could feel the niggles creeping back in. In fact I wanted to get off on the flight home

So please try and restore my confidence, remind me why i like it, and why you like it?

TIA

I imagine I am on a coach, not a plane.

And actually a coach is bumpier than a plane!

Busy yourself staring at the other passengers and their awful clothes and habits.

MrsMattie · 17/03/2008 18:16

Because people who don't fly miss out on so much. And because you are many, many more times likely to die in a car accident than in a plane crash. But you get into a car OK, don't you?

mosschops30 · 17/03/2008 18:44

yes all true
love that maidamess I love people watching, and a have a fab book that I'm just getting into so that'll help
