Passport Renewal

Does anyone know what the current passport renewal time is? How long is is taking these days?

I lost my passport and had to get a replacement and I cancelled the old passport and applied for a new one online and it took 7 days.

I think it may have been even quicker if I had not applied on a Friday.

If you need to get your passport picture approved by someone that knows you, I would suggest that you name someone who you know will answer the email and respond to them quickly as I think that can be a hold up too.

I applied for my daughters first passport online and it was here within a week. That was with the photograph being rejected too!

Applied for daughters renewal on 21 Nov. We got her new one yesterday.

Applied for mine on Tuesday, received new passport the same week on Saturday.

Just got my teen’s renewed. Took 9 days. Now is a good time of year, ahead of summer rush.

About 10 days - nice and quick.

Just did mine. 7 days (including the weekend) from starting the application to the new passport arriving. Make sure you're prompt sending your old one in, they won't dispatch your new one until they have it.

just did last week, took 7 days.

Done 3 renewals recently. All 7 to 10 days.

Did my son's at the beginning of November. 12 days, including the sending of the old passport on day 2.
