4hr time change and almost 3 year old's routine

Hi

Am pondering what to do with ds and bedtimes on our forthcoming trip - there's a 4 hr time difference (they are 4hrs ahead of here).

Was thinking keep him up later than normal and let him get up later but then we might miss the hotel's breakfast and dh and I won't manage even 1 or 2 dinners alone (we were planning on getting a babysitter 2 nights and the rest of the time eating with ds, then just hanging out in the room after he has gone to sleep)

hi, we had a 7 hour difference at xmas had room service for 3 nights until dd got into some routine there, breakfast was until 11am so she would be up about 10am, could you have room service for a couple of mornings? we then let dd have a nap in afternoon and she stayed up till about 12. the big nightmare was when we returned, falling asleep at 4ppm then up at 2am. took a week to get her back to normal.
i dont actually know if there is anything you can actually do to get over the initial acclimatisation. most hotels serve breakfast until 10am, i would get ready then get him ready last minute and get down there 15mins before they stop.

Thanks. Good advice.
I think we're not going to do more than change him by 2 hours so we don't have a complete nightmare when we get home!
